Check out the latest big striper pictures, July has been
fantastic for Bass fishing.
This was the season of diamond jigging for us. We
could consistently go to Block Island and diamond jig to
catch both stripers and bluefish, and we limited out on
almost every single trip during the season. It was
really incredible. Both morning and
afternoon trips could be very productive, it didn't
matter. A lot of large stripers were caught
during this season, and there was a wide variety of
plentiful bait that kept the fish around in large
numbers until mid-September.
We caught a large number of tautog during this season
and did 12 tautog trips. Our biggest tog was
11.6lbs.
November 1, 2010: 10lb Tautog 25" long
October 24, 2010: a 9lb Tautog and 10lb

caught at Block Island.
This 19 year old fish was released unharmed, and we
still limited out easily.

She caught the first bass, the most bass, and the
biggest bass of the trip.
This large female was released unharmed, and we still
got our limit.
July 16, 2010: Steve Tyroll with a 30lb bass at

a 10lb class spinning rod.

class rod at Block Island.

fighting this 29lb fish all the way in.
